What are you reading now? Right now I am enjoying Laced by Carol Higgins Clark. I’m also checking out How to Get Things Really Flat by Andrew Martin.
What have you read recently? I’ve read Bride and Groom: A Dog Lover’s Mystery by Susan Conant and Baking Soda: Over 500 Fabulous, Fun, and Frugal Uses You’ve Probably Never Thought Of by Vicki Lansky. My grandchild enjoyed these early fiction books I read to her: A Book of Sleep by Il Sung Na and Seventeen Things I’m Not Allowed to Do Anymore by Jenny Offill.
What is your favorite classic? Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier.
What is your all time favorite book/series? An old favorite of mine is The Moon-Spinners by Mary Stewart. Some juvenile fiction books I like are National Velvet by Enid Bagnold and the Trixie Belden series by Julie Campbell and Kathryn Kenny. I tend to keep current with Janet Evanovich’s books too!
What are your favorite recommendations? My very favorite recommendation is: “The Reference Desk.” Really! They are excellent at making suggestions based on what you like. Otherwise, I would suggest Play Dead by David Rosenfelt, The Christmas Train by David Baldacci, and author Mary Higgins Clark. Another fun read is the Jane Jeffry series by Jill Churchhill. Every one of her titles has the funniest play on words: A Groom With a View, The Accidental Florist, A Midsummer Night’s Scream. They are a hoot!
