    Looking for a place to share what you're reading with your friends? Need a place to keep track of what you've read or what you want to read? Need a recommendation? You might want to join a social networking site that's just for book lovers! All have similar functionality but different feels.

    Goodreads - With more emphasis on the social, this is a great place to connect with your friends. Many authors keep their personal libraries on Goodreads and import their blog posts. Goodreads has also started to do more interviews with authors, book giveaways, etc.

    LibraryThing - Includes lists of recommendations based on your favorite book, user recommendations, and handy tag clouds. Some authors keep their personal libraries on LT.

    Shelfari - Owned by Amazon, Shelfari is connected to your Amazon account and can import your book purchases and more.
